As runners for the charity Action Medical Research, Anne and I had the privilege, at the beginning of February, to go to London for a seminar humbly called “Meet the Experts”.
We fought through the snow that fell heavily that weekend on London, to go to our seminar for running geeks. We were able to let our snowy-wet feet dry for a whole day inside while we listened to the London Marathon team, nutrition specialists, sport scientists and also professional athletes, and shared our joys and anguishes for this huge challenge.
The seminar really motivated us to run the 42 km in 8 weeks time… We were also able to visit George, that is bravely fighting against a tumor and is getting better little by little.
