The Bazas Christmas Race

Every year, at the end of December, there is a Christmas Race in our hometown Bazas. It is the occasion to have a little run before Christmas, in order to feel a bit better about all the chocolate, mince pies and Christmas puddings eaten during that period!

Anne and I made the most of the race and the presence of many runners from all over the department to talk about the marathon and our fundraising for Action Medical Research, the charity we are running for next April that contributes to research on child diseases. Wearing our Action Medical Research T-shirts, we held a stall before and after the race to talk about our action, we took the microphone during the reward ceremony, and of course kept our T-shirts for the race, with a Christmas hat to top it all!

A big thanks to the Union Sportive d’Athlétisme de Bazas who let us talk about our project!
